- I'm a 23 year old student of biology at the University of Ottawa. Living in Ottawa it is essential that I am able to do 3 things: 1. Withstand extreme cold 2. Skate 3. Love Canada day :D I am the proud owner of two cats, Joplin and Hendrix, who I care for very much and who make life that much more interesting. Another love of mine is cooking. It is a new love but I have really thrown myself into it and little by little I'm taking on bigger challenges. Being classically Canadian I am a huge hockey fan, specifically the Montreal Canadiens. I've also been playing hockey for 10 years. My newest interest is photography and I love practicing in my blogs. Last but not least I love invertebrate biology. It fascinates me daily, if you ever get the chance I strongly advise anyone to do a little of their own research into this fascinating topic.
