It's unbelievable how fast time flies by. Just under a year ago we picked Hendrix up at the pet store and brought him home. He was so small that when he would lie beside Steph's feet it looked like he was next to a giant!
Now he's taller, bigger, faster and stronger than Joplin. Unfortunately, he also has entered what I'm going to call his early teens because all he wants to do is box with Joplin. And all Joplin wants to do is lick him! She's in love. It's almost like Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy...that or I really need to get out of the house hahaha
Spring is almost here and I've cleaned off the balcony and brought the patio furniture back out. It's still a bit chilly during the day but I brought Joplin out for a bit to enjoy nature. Hendrix came outside for the first time EVER and was terrified, poor little guy. It look about 30min but eventually he was sniffing at the dirt and dead plants. Now we're supposed to get a week of rain, but that ok. As long as the snow is OVER!!

ReplyDeleteI have a now 3.5 year old adoptee who's still in his "teen" years. In fact, I don't think he'll ever outgrow the stage. LOL.
Hendrix has definately become a mancat! I'm not surprised that Joplin is in love with him.

Isn't it funny how they change so quickly! Barney is hilarious - he still has a kitten face but he is HUGE now (even bigger then Virgil, who is a year older) - and he is only 10 months old! Hendrix is such a cutie though - and a typical boy cat too! Always wanting to box - that is how the 2 youngin's at our house are. Joplin on the other hand, well she is a little different then our ladycat - it is funny that she likes to lick Hendrix even though he wants to box!
